October: Love @ firt sight, to my heart's delight

It’s that time of month again for another love at first sight to my heart’s delight. I know I’m late… its already 2nd week of Oct, but like they said better late than never!  And oh I got a new button for this series! 

There are tons of things that I have been loving these month… so let me jump in! Let me start with make-ups. You may recall that I have received all my online orders last month so to be honest I was quite overwhelmed since I have too many choices and leave me with  “What in the world should I open first?!” I tried to control myself by not using all the products, so here are some of the products that I have been loving so far…

Real technique (RT) {1} expert and {2} powder brush – I received my sigma brushes, elf and real technique brushes in the same time. Though I was excited when I got the sigma, but I found myself been reaching more for RT brushes. I’ve been using the expert brush is buffing my foundation and the powder brush (the best powder brush ever!) in applying powder blush and face powder. And let me tell you, it’s the softest brush ever, and another great thing is its ZERO fall out! From the initial cleaning then second time deep cleaning there is no fall out. And the strange thing, though the powder brush is so dense, when I wash it same time with the powder brush of sigma the real technique dries up quickly. I’m still looking forward of trying the rest of RT brushes.
 

{3} Urban Decay Naked 1 – I think I'm the only last person on the earth who doesn’t own this palette. But finally I got a chance to put my hands on this, I love this palette been playing around with it from the day I got it.
 

{4} The Balm Nude Tude – honestly I thought nothing can beat UD Naked 1, but I was wrong… The Balm did! Though both are in same line of so called "neutral palette", but Nude tude has more variety of color range. It has more unique colors, especially the shade "Silly". It comes in two different packages -  Nice and Naughty. Ofcourse I got the Naughty one ;) it's so adorable!   
 

{5}MAC Mineralized Skin Finish - It's light and it's great as a finishing/setting powder
 

{6)MAC Syrup - I just love this lipstick, its sheer and it’s a perfect color for everyday use.  Nude lipstick doesn’t really suit me so I always gravitate towards cool-toned pink color. This lipstick is great it just gives a hint of color but still buildable. And its very hydrating.
 

{7} Elf lip exfoliator – when I got the package this is the first elf product that I opened, I tend to have always dry lips and this is just a life saver! And it taste really good 
 

{8} Barry M pink nail- last month, I used this lot in accordance of Breast cancer awareness. Really love the color!
 

{9} Covergirl in Coffee shop - Out of the 4 shades, I have been reaching the white shade as a brow and inner eye highlighter. I like it coz it's not too shimmery and not so matte, it's just in between.

And lastly,,,…. My only food fav for last month
 

{10} Nutella – who doesn’t love nutella?!!!???? Its heaven sent! I love to pair it with strawberry. Just perfect match!

My September love at first sight, to my heart's delight!

I can’t believe that another month had passed! It seems just like yesterday! I bought and tried several products for this month and here are some of my favorites:

Covergirl aqua smooth foundation
This is amazing foundation for everyday use. Its a lightweight and gives minimal coverage. Plus this has SPF15. So if you’re looking for light coverage I really recommend giving this a try.

Bobbi brown corrector
Lack of sleep??? Dark under eye? this corrector is the answer to your problem. I LOVE this so much! I used this as a based before applying my concealer. It is a bit pricey, but its all worth it. Plus you just need to apply a small amount under your eye so definitely the product will last for long. And I also love the Bobbi Brown on-line service, they do assist you virtually in choosing the right product that would suit your skin. For reference, I'm NC35 and I got my corrector in color Peach.

Maybelline - Dream Lumi Touch
I can’t live without this. This and my bobbi brown corrector does the trick for my under eye and make it look flawless and bright. They said that this is a dupe for YSL, I personally haven’t tried YSL, and not planning to pay for the price. I’m happy with the result of this, and consider it as my HG.

Mac Lipstick in Cosmo
I always gravitate to nude pinkish lipstick with brown undertone and this is one of the best! Very hydrating and long wearing. Its amazing for everyday use. You’ll never go wrong with MAC.

Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart
Amongst the Revlon lip butter this one is my favorite. It’s a bright pink color, very pigmented. It goes very well with my fair skin tone. Since its considered only as a tinted lip balm, therefore the staying power is not that great.

Bioderma - Crealine H2O - Ultra-Mild Non-Rinse Face and Eyes Cleanser
Finally found the best cleanser and make-up remover. Its very gentle in the skin. And what I love most is that its a water based cleanser. My skin feels soft and subtle yet there is no grease residue. It does a good job in removing make-up, its very gentle and does not irritate my eye.

BBW Secret wonderland
I love this scent! I know I'm so behind coz I initially thought that this has a heavy scent. But I was totally wrong, I immediately fell in love with the sweet berry scent. I've been using it everyday since I got it. And the scent also last for long, quite impressive.

Dial Grape Seed Oil & Lemongrass body wash
This is a rediscovered product, I found this hiding in my toiletries pantry. I totally had forgotten about this… among all the dial body wash this one is my favorite! The smell is amazing! Its very refreshing! And its also moisturizing, No wonder Allure awarded it as Best Product of the year. But sadly I cannot find it anymore.

My August love at first sight, to my heart's delight!

1a. Body Shop Shea Body butter

I have a very dry skin, I’ve tried so many kinds of lotions and oil but nothing really works. I used to ignore body butter since I have an impression that it’s sticky/greasy especially in a humid weather. Well I was wrong, I was so desperate to fix my problem so I went to Body Shop and grab a shea butter to try. And OMG, I’m not over exaggerating it, but next day (after putting the night before) I have the softest legs ever! It also fixes my after shaving problem, before I used to have this irritation right after shaving but my HG shea butter resolve everything! I’m so glad that I bought this. I even went back and bought some extras for reserve.  

1b. Lush Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter

This is another HG for my stubborn dry skin. I tend to have always a dry cuticle and this cream works wonder. And the smell is just right up my alley. This works great also for any dry part of your body (i.e elbow, toes, or even hands). I also use this for my feet, and I’m very happy with the results. The only downside is…it’s a bit pricey. But I think its all worth it!

2. Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost

Another HG product for me is from Body Shop as well, you may recall back in June I have featured it in my mini shop with me series. Well I guess, for now I can give you a fair review about it. After a month of using the product, one of my colleagues gave a complement about my skin and she said that my skin is glowing. I haven’t changed anything with my routine except for this. It really makes your skin soft and radiant. It consists of vitamin C, which is good for our skin. What I really like is that, it’s a dual purpose serum; it also acts as my primer. Its texture resembles to a primer. I love the citrus smell too!

3. Burt's Bees Tinted lip balm
I recently received this from my Insiders' choice box, I tend to have very dry and chapped lips. And nothing works for me, except Neutrogena (love this one). I thought nothing can beat it, but right now I'm also loving Burt's Bees tinted lip balm, it also makes my lips so soft and unlike other tinted lip balms this never makes my lips dry and flaky. So if I'm lazy to put on lipstick I just use this instead.

4. Koji Eyelash Curler (No.70) and Almay get up and grow mascara
Can’t live without these!!! They work hand in hand for me! Review coming up soon!

5. Wet n’ wild silent treatment eyeshadow palette
I find myself always reaching for this palette. Its so pigmented, smooth and easy to apply. And it goes with everything, very versatile. And you can easily make a simple Smokey eye look.


6. Bath & Body Works Hand sanitizer, Hand soap and Wallflowers Fragrance Bulb in Island Margarita
Who doesn't love margarita???!!?? But seriously I fell in love with this scent! Its so yummy!!! It's a fresh and fruity tropical scent. The smells stays for long time. And its so addicting, I find myself always putting sanitizer just because I love the smell. I wanted to try the candle, but its a bit pricey. I hope they can also make this in lotion and body spray.

7. Bath and Body works scented candle in  Homemade Cookies Biscuits Maison (Currently unavailable in their site)
Found this on sale!! And I'm happy that I got it. It fills my entire house with a smell of newly bake cookies!
Mix with some cinnamon and nutmeg smell!!! so yummy!!
