WILW and Oh how pinteresting - Special Edition

Hi everyone! It’s been a month of no blog post. Month of April was a very good month for me. It’s quite overwhelming but I’m very thankful and grateful for God’s blessings. Too many good things had happened and I’m looking forward for more. So in lieu of these good things ofcourse lots of work that leads me to no post mode.

I miss participating in WILW and Oh how Pinteresting by The Vintage Apple anyways lets jump in and lemme share with you some good things:

First like I said I’m loving the month of April, it’s like a valentine's month for me. It’s because I’m officially engaged with my hubby.

April 11 is the official date where he proposed and gave me this lovely engagement ring. Which I considered the most beautiful ring! And this day was the most memorable day ever! And we’ve shared this special moment with our special friends…this is the most beautiful night I’ve ever had!

April was also a cooking month for me, I’ve cooked a lot last month maybe because I was in cloud nine and was really inspired to cook and bake. Here a sneak peek of some food goodies I made. Watch out for the coming recipe!

We have been busy with our business; in my part I’ve been busy in organizing and taking some pictures for the ad. Here’s some of the shots that I took and loving.

Ofcourse, not to forget I have been loving the weather, it’s hot in the morning but breezy in the afternoon. And you know the deal during summer, it’s time to hit the Jumeirah, Dubai beach again!

I have loving this poster and cards that I saw in the mall, its so true!

And lastly I have been loving my latest mission which is – hunting for a car. Though its not my forte, but surely its fun to look around and see all the latest cars.

WILW and Oh how pinteresting - Spring edition

Hi everyone! Its Wednesday! Finally!!!! as you can see with my exclamation point, I have been waiting for this day. I don't know with you guys, but I personally feel this week is kinda slow and tiring. Well anyways, I'm glad its Wednesday which only means, its' time for WILW and Oh how Pinteresting by The Vintage Apple

As you notice in my previous post, I am in a spring cleaning mood. And I'm loving the outcome! Its' nice to have an organized place. And the most exciting part is linking/participating with Jen of iheartorganizing. You can see my post here and here.

Since its already hot here, I'm currently obsessed with sorbet.

If you follow me in Instagram you must have already seen this, I am in love with our new collection. Isn't it so adorabale and it look so elegant and unique.

And I'm also loving this spring color nail polish from Covergirl. The color is lav-endure, and I totally recommend it. First the color is to die for, its so opaque and pigmented and it last for the whole week.

Hold on a second, as you all know Pinterest recently updated their site. And one of the changes, is the method of how we imbed images in our blog. Honestly, the recent revamp in their site is much way better. But in terms of embedding images, I honestly prefer the old school. I love spring, especially I love redecorating our house and give some color. It's just so refreshing in the eyes.

Style to steal

Who doesn’t like a branded or signature items?!!? Well I guess no one; I do sometimes splurge myself for the things that I’m really dreaming/wanting, but not all the time. (Or else my wallet will dry out ;D) Branded or signature items are nicest thing of them all but not the price tag underneath. That is why I am in constantly looking for a better deal without sacrificing the quality and the style that I want.

You may recall that back in my post here, I am gravitating towards the leopard prints style. So from that day, I was in a continuous hunt for my current obsession. And I am happy to say that I successfully found the things that I want and the most exciting part is that I got it in much better price point. Why spend a lot if you can get it in cheaper price, right?

So without further ado, here are the items that I successfully found:

As you can see its a big price difference. But design wise it is pretty close (especially the Munro and the Fioni). Honestly I really LOVE these flats, especially the deflex, without exaggerating its the most comfortable shoes I ever had. As the name explains, it a flexible flat. It is so comfortable and very soft. I have been using this non-stop.

They are currently on sale right now, so please get one, I swear you'll never regret it. They also have other designs in the same concept "deflex", I tried them but honestly though its comfortable its not really flattering in my feet, not unlike the leopard print.

Here are the other things that I got, which are also in a better price point:

Iphone case got it from the street vendor in China. I really love this! and I also love the price!

You don’t have to spend a lot, fashion is not about the name/brand or the price tag underneath, its about how you put it up together and how you carry it.

Love is in the air: Valen-TIME recap

Hi everyone! I hope everyone has a great big heart day! Here's a recap of my big heart day:

While I was too busy doing my online shopping in drugstore.com (I'll do a haul once I received it), my hubby surprised me with a gift. He gave it at exactly 12 midnight.

I was so happy that I got this Michael Kors watch, coz honestly I have been eyeing for this model.

At night of the big heart day, we went out for a simple dinner. Here's my valen-tire lookbook:

Top: I got his on sale in H&M, so most probably not available anymore. But I also love this boxy layered eyelet top from Forever21

Skirt: I got this Peplum skirt on sale from Debenhams last year. I love the details and the gold buttons. ASOS has also nice peplum skirt.

Shoes: from Christian Louboutin love this and its the perfect height for me.

Watch: Cartier ballon bleu I received this as a gift from hubby 2 years ago.

Next day, we are still in the big heart day mood. So we went out for a movie and this time I gave him my surprise gift.

First, isn't this so cute and adorable, I found this in hallmark and it was on sale. I really fell in love with this.

Well, I guess hubby doesn't care about the bag :). Here's what I got for him:

I'm happy coz he really likes it. Well I guess its time for him to upgrade his old blackberry phone. I just hope he can keep up with the touch screen :)

Then we had this unique pizza in a shape of a cone or a.k.a "cone pizza". It was so yummy, and I like the idea of it, its such unique way of eating your typical pizza.

This is how they cook the pizza cone, cool huh?!?

I don't know with you guys, but during the month of heart I find myself eating more of sweets and chocolate (weird)

I'm loving this new Reese chocolate (I'm not really sure if its a new one, well atleast its new to me)

and I'm loving these cookies with toasted sesame seeds and pistachio nuts. I'm not sure about the name in english. But as you can see I obviously love this so much!!!
